CompTIA CloudNetX CNX-001 Information
Overview of CompTIA CloudNetX (CNX-001)
Introduced on February 18 2025, CompTIA CloudNetX is the vendor-neutral, expert-level certification that validates an architect’s ability to design, secure and optimize hybrid-cloud networks. The single exam (series code CNX-001) lasts up to 165 minutes and presents a maximum of 90 questions—both multiple-choice and performance-based—scored on a simple pass/fail basis. CompTIA recommends at least ten years of overall IT experience, including five years in a network-architect role, plus knowledge equivalent to Network+, Security+ and Cloud+ before you sit the test.
What the Exam Covers
CloudNetX maps its questions to four weighted domains: Network Architecture Design (31 %), Network Security (28 %), Network Operations/Monitoring/Performance (16 %) and Network Troubleshooting (25 %). Expect scenarios on hybrid connectivity (VPN, SD-WAN, MPLS), zero-trust design, automation with IaC, end-to-end monitoring, and advanced fault isolation across cloud and on-prem segments. Mastery of these areas proves you can translate business requirements into resilient, secure and scalable network topologies for enterprise and service-provider environments.
Benefits of CloudNetX Practice Exams
CloudNetX Practice tests help you prepare by showing you exactly what the real exam feels like before you ever walk in. They find your weak areas so you know what to study next instead of guessing. They also build confidence by reducing test-day anxiety through repetition. You learn how to manage your time under pressure, which is a huge part of passing. Overall, they turn studying from passive reading into active, measurable progress.
Preparation Tips and Career Payoff
Combine these practice exams with CompTIA’s official objective list and hands-on labs (for example, building a spine-and-leaf fabric or scripting SD-WAN deployments) to reinforce muscle memory. Map every missed practice question back to the domain weightings so you spend study time where it matters most. Earning CloudNetX positions you for roles such as cloud-network architect or enterprise-network security architect and signals to employers that you can deliver secure, automation-ready hybrid networks at scale.
