On the Data Source page you have already connected live to an Oracle table. You now must bring a local CSV into the same data source instead of creating a separate one for blending. What should you do first so both connections appear in the Connections pane for later joins?
Click Add in the Connections pane and select the CSV file connector.
Turn off Auto Update on the Data Source page before importing the CSV.
Open a new worksheet to trigger a secondary connection to the CSV.
Choose Data > Edit Relationships and map Oracle fields to CSV fields.
A multi-connection data source starts with adding another connection inside the existing data source. The Add option in the Connections pane (or the menu command that opens the same dialog) lets you browse to and connect to a second file or server. Once the CSV has been added, its table becomes available in the logical layer, where it can be related or joined to the Oracle table. Simply editing relationships, opening a new worksheet, or toggling Auto Update does not create an additional connection, so those actions cannot build a multi-connection data source.
