Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals DP-900 Practice Question

In Azure Table storage, every entity (record) is identified by a composite primary key that consists of the PartitionKey and the RowKey values. The PartitionKey groups related entities so they can be stored on the same partition server, which improves query performance for operations that target a single partition. The RowKey is the unique identifier for an entity within that partition. When used together, PartitionKey and RowKey ensure that each entity is uniquely addressable and enable efficient, constant-time point queries.
